Lovely Words

Trish, we cannot thank you enough for helping us put together Dad’s Funeral Service. It was so comforting to work with you. Not only did you advise and act with first-class professionalism, but your warmth and sincerity supported me and gave me the confidence I needed to compose and deliver very personal words. One of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. At all times, I trusted that you had everything in hand, even down to the finest detail requested, playing the music of Aka Bilk!  So touching. You can read from the comments below how very right you got the Service. Very well done and thank you so much.

Here are some of the comments from my close family and friends:

From Australia:
‘ It was such a lovely service. We watched it from our lounge room and then chatted for ages about Harry afterwards. Thank you for including details like him whistling…I had forgotten all about his whistling. We both loved how you thanked the home and the people who work there. Sounds like a very special place. It makes me feel so much better knowing that she is taken care of there. The camera was in the back of the room, but I could tell Nanna was singing the hymns.’

‘Beautiful service. So many good memories. Thank you, We also had a lovely chat afterwards.’

‘Thank you. You spoke beautifully. What a very special service.’

‘The service was lovely. Family memories great.’ (My Sister’s comments to my niece).

‘Loved how the lady who facilitated the service, focused on memories and how we can continue to honour and remember Grandpa.’

U.K. Family:
‘What an absolutely beautiful service. Your Dad would be so proud of you all. You and Caitlin made the service so special. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate Uncle Harry’s life with you. Thank you.’

‘Beautiful celebration of your wonderful Dad’s life. Especially love the photo of your Mum and Dad on the Order of Service. Thank you for the link to join you all.’

‘Lovely service, Al. We all sat and watched and sang along. Wonderful words. Love to everyone down there. We were with you all the way.’

Once again, Trish, Many, many thanks for holding my hand – I couldn’t have done it without you. You do amazing work. Such a great gift. It has helped Mum, the family and I to grieve with tears and laughter…and there’s no better way. As my niece quite rightly said, memories of the Service will allow us all ,’…to continue to honour and remember, Grandpa Harry.’

Will not hesitate to recommend you to all my family and friends, Trish. Bless you.

Warmest regards,

Grant, Alison and Joan x
